'Twas the week before Christmas and all through the county,
The crews were a'working as if hunting a bounty.
In areas inside NPDES boundaries
The sweepers and vactors are as busy as bees.
If you happen to travel on Sleater-Kinney Road,
You might get to see our crews as they belt load.
Out by the Rainier pit if you hear some noise,
It's just tub grinding by some of the boys.
On Pinedrop Road there's a crew with some saws
Clearing brush, making it easier on Santa Claus.
The rest of the crew not involved in these tasks
Are taking care of other things that the citizens have asked.
