You will see our crews doing some vegetation removal along Steamboat Island Road NW, and also along Abernethy Rd.
We will be belt-loading in the Johnson Point area so watch for trucks pulling in and out of line and please obey the traffic control personnel's directions for your safety and the safety of our crew.
There will be vactor crews working in the NPDES areas and along Cooper Pt Rd.
We also have some folks working along Old Hwy 99 finishing driveways following last fall's paving operations.
There is some guardrail repair being done on Morris Rd in the SE. And if you are feeling adventurous and wandering off the paved roads, you may run into our graders dressing up some of the gravel roads in the south east of the county by spreading new gravel and redistributing some of the old.
This is a scary time of year for the beavers. This is the time of year when their homes and dams are inspected to insure that they won't cause any damage or flooding to nearby roads. Currently our beaver dam inspectors are working in the SW area of the county.
