Crews are working with a bunch of brush this week, espcially around guard-rails and on Wright Rd in the southwest area of the county. There is some mowing happening along Zenkner Valley area in the far southwest and ditch maintenance along Bicknell Rd SW.

In the northeast, we have ditch maintenance based on service requests and catchbasin and culvert cleaning.

Crews are working on some trail construction near the City of Rainier in conjunction with the Parks Dept near SR 510. (Note: Thurston County Parks is a division of Thurston County Public Works)

There is also a crew working on the site remodel at the campus on Tilley road preparing for some paving.

Please remember, it's not a good idea to sweep your leaves into the street where they can block storm drains and cause flooding.
